2001 – Present - Art Teacher, Longwood Elementary School, Longwood, Florida, teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade
1994 – Present - Teach classes of Drawing and Cartooning and Cartooning and Fantasy Art for Children/Teenagers at Maitland Art Center during Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer Sessions
2000 - Taught Drawing and Cartooning Workshop for Children and Teenagers at Cornell Art Museum, Rollins College,Winter Park, Florida
1990 – 1999 - Art Teacher Spring Lake Elementary School, Altamonte Springs, Florida, teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade students
1997 - Wrote lesson plans for Orlando Museum of Art summer camp based on their exhibition of “The Imperial Tombs of China” tentatively entitled “My Hand Made Book of China” and “Animals Important in Chinese Art and Tradition”; taught those classes that summer
1996 - Taught two classes for the Orlando Museum of Art’s summer children’s art camp, “Art Adventures: American Sculptors” and “Art Adventures: Architecture”

2006 - Present - Alternate representative for Building Committee of Longwood Elementary School in Seminole Education Association
1992 -- Present - Member of Florida Art Education Association since 1992; presently hold elected position of Elementary Division Director (October, 2005, until October, 2007)
2000 -- 2004 - Member of School Advisory Committee for Longwood Elementary School, working to write School Improvement Plan
1991 -- 1994 - Member of School Advisory Committee for Spring Lake Elementary School, working to write School Improvement Plan
1990 -- Present - Member of Seminole County Art Education Association, presently serving as Past President; have held positions of President, President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and Hospitality Chair
2000 – 2005--Represented Seminole County School District at Supervisor’s Meetings at Florida Art Education Association’s State Conferences
2001 – 2002 - Participated in pilot study of portfolio exercises for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Art Certificate.
2001 – 2002 - Served on Art Textbook Adoption Committee for Seminole County, Florida
1996 – 1997 - Worked on Committee writing Seminole School District’s Visual Arts Benchmarks aligning same with Florida’s Sunshine State Standards
2004 - Mentored Senior Intern from Florida State University, who now teaches Art in another state
2001 – 2002 - Mentored Beginning Art Teacher at Goldsboro Elementary School, Sanford, who continues to teach Art at Goldsboro Elementary and recently passed her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Art Certificate Examination
2000 – 2001 - Mentored Beginning Art Teacher at Winter Springs Elementary, who now teaches Art at Lake Mary High School
1997 - Mentored Senior Intern from University of Central Florida, who now teaches art in Orange County, Florida
